Who We Are
Partnering to empower Bonny graduates and uplift our community through advocacy, education, and opportunity.
The Bonny Graduates Forum (BGF) is a platform for young Bonny indigenes dedicated to advancing educational access, employment equity, and community development. Founded in 1995 during the early construction of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) plant, BGF arose in response to the marginalization of local graduates in recruitment processes.
Through grassroots activism and persistent engagement, BGF has led transformative initiatives—from national-level advocacy to scholarships and mentorship programs for students. Its efforts have opened employment pathways and created lasting educational opportunities for Bonny youth.
Driven by unity, resilience, and a deep commitment to justice, BGF continues to shape a future where every Bonny graduate is equipped to lead, serve, and thrive.
